Lovers and Players by Jackie Collins

A typical Jackie Collins’ book. If you’ve read one, you pretty much know what to expect in the next. That is a relief for some and a downer for others. In my case, I knew just want I felt like reading when I picked this one up. Except you still cannot guess when the next expected twist is about to come, which is a big plus.

You have to be in a certain mood to read a Collins’ novel, to be able to keep track of ALL the characters that come rushing at you.

In this particular book, the main premise is a little hard to take. I’m not one for love at first sight, and even lesser accept that two people can be so drawn to each other that they risk everything after a one night stand when they didn’t even talk. But that’s not just what this book is about.

It’s about brothers and relationships and being smart. It’s about the bond between siblings and to what extent one could go for another, or not !

I liked the book over all and would give it 4 stars for  over all entertainment.
