Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger hunts are an amazing activity. There are so versatile, for kids and adults alike. They can be done at a party or community event. You can even do them around home or in your back yard to keep kids occupied on a play date or when they are bored. They are a great ice breaker for people who don’t know each other and a great laugh for those who do, as together the group thinks up and scrounges the items on the list. The group/duo or person to complete the list first are the winners.

Best part is this is an activity that requires minimum supplies. Just paper for lists to be given to the groups, a judge to check if all the items match the criteria and a vivid imagination.

Mind you the word play has to be such that can be applied to more than one item to allow participants to think out of the box. Sometimes, you yourself will be surprised by the outcome !!

Here is one I came up with for an Easter event for adults after the kids were done with their egg hunts.
