61 Hours

I am senselessly in love with Jack Reacher. I just love his sense of honour, honesty and all that’s wrong with the world. I love the way Lee Child puts across the tale from beginning to end, keeping you tied up in each scene and dialogue.

Didn’t enjoy this outing as much as the others though, as the suspense is kinda predictable if you keep your eyes open and the ending is kind of abrubt, not having it’s usual panache.

As always here we find Jack Reacher being drawn into others’ problems due to other else but his sense of doing what’s right at the time. Side by side, we delve into the phsyci of the villain whose full of ” short comings “, pun intended. The countdown from the 61 hours is soemthing I didn’t quite grasp but maybe it’ll make sense in the next contribution of Child.

But all in all, this is a trip worth taking if you love action, drama and all that’s good in writing !!
